| Hydraulic System |
The
hydraulic system actuates the airplane
landing gear, only.
This system is composed of an hydraulic
pump, a pressure switch (1,800 PSI),
a valve to extend the landing gear in
the event of hydraulic pressure failure,
a nose gear actuating cylinder, and
two main landing gear actuating cylinders.
Even though hydraulically operated,
the brake system is independent of the
landing gear hydraulic system. |
