| Ventilation System |
The
cooling air for the ventilation system
of both cockpits is obtained at the
air intake port, located at the leading
edge of each wing, close to the union
with the fuselage, which receives air
impact pressure and carries it through
flexible ducts.
The air from the right wing intake flows
through two ducts towards the ventilation
air outlets, located in the right panels,
one at each cockpit. The air from the
left wing intake flows through two ducts,
independent from the right ones, towards
the ventilation air outlets, located
in the left panels, one in each cockpit.
From the intake to the beginning of
the ducts, the airflow is deflected
in such a way that no water seeps through
the ducts. A drainage hole is provided
at the lower part of the leading edge.
Also, the heating air outlets are used
as cooling air outlets. For such purpose,
a directional valve has been added to
the heating system intake nozzle, as
well as a control knob at the cockpit.
The airplane can be fitted with an air
conditioning system, as an optional
equipment. |
