The
landing gear is of the tricycle, retractable
type, operated by hydraulic pressure.
When retracted, the gear is kept by
the pressure existing in the hydraulic
system. When extended, the nose wheel
is locked by a latch, which inserts
itself into a locking pivot, while the
main gear is locked by a safety latch,
based on a mechanical spring and rod
effect.
A nose wheel self-centering mechanism
keeps it centered when retracted, after
which the doors are actuated by a mechanical
system, synchronized with the gear movements.
