C-130 Hercules Aircraft

ENAER C-130 Aircraft Maintenance Center is a high-level technical entity that provides major maintenance services for this type of aircraft, in their A, B and H versions. For this purpose, on November 24, 2003, it was granted the "Hercules Military Aircraft Service Center Agreement" by the Lockheed Martin Aero company, which shall allow the Center to better incorporate clients from Central America, South America and Africa.

To attain this capability, The company has made constant investments to optimize its workshops and obtain the support equipment and tools necessary for the activity, being worth mentioning its paint-shop that provides important coverage when seeking a further comprehensive maintenance solution prioritizing the work quality, the process transparency and the operator satisfaction.

ENAER offers an unparalleled cost/efficiency ratio for our potential clients, because we are committed to develop a relationship that creates value for our users in terms of expeditious contact, good response time, operating efficiency and low labor cost.

Below, we have underlined some aspects that distinguish ENAER as a Center Authorized to provide Comprehensive Maintenance Services for C-130 Aircraft and which should be considered in any evaluation:

1. QUALITY
ENAER quality is based on the ISO 9001:2000 SAE AS 9100B:2004 systems, being constantly audited by Boeing, Embraer, EADS, Lockeed Martin y FAA   and others. A proof of ENAER quality standards is that during 2002 and 2003, it has been distinguished by EMBRAER as Vendor of the Year, due to the quality of its products.

The Authorized Service Center is subject to ENAER quality requirements, being constantly audited in terms of processes, staff, materials and vendors. As a result, this Center can provide high quality works, recording no claims from its clients during the past three (3) years.

2. CAPABILITY
ENAER is equipped with highly qualified technical personnel. In fact, 90% of the Authorized Service Center’s personnel have their aeronautical licenses in effect and 100% have completed formal C-130, models A, B and H, material courses.

ENAER high-level in the manufacture of pieces and parts allows it to manufacture structural pieces for aircraft being currently under inspection, complying with all the quality and airworthiness requirements and allowing the operator to reduce costs and time of the aircraft on the ground. ENAER is the only repairing workshop in Chile being equipped with this manufacturing capability.

3. TRANSPARENCY
ENAER has a complete process transparency policy whereby the technical representatives of the operators sending their aircraft to ENAER are located at the hangar, very close to the aircraft and with all the man-hour, material, and work information available, connected online with The company’s systems. This way the operator has the same information as that available for the Authorized Service Center, which avoids undue and/or excessive charges.

4. FLEXIBILITY
Aware of the particular needs of its clients, ENAER offers different work quotation alternatives aimed at meeting its customers’ additional requirements.

5. COSTS
The experience and seriousness have permitted to show that ENAER is quite certain in its man-hour cost estimates or quotations, which normally show no variations, and in case of any variations, they are only slight differences against the initial estimates.

6. EXPERIENCE
ENAER experience and logistic support allow it to emerge as an alternative for major maintenance at very competitive prices, complying with delivery dates and reducing the time must stay on land. For this purpose, contractual mechanisms are provided to protect our clients against potential delays.
